VIWMA Advises Community of Bovoni Landfill Maintenance Schedule

(ST. CROIX, USVI) - The Virgin Islands Waste Management Authority (VIWMA) Preserving Paradise team would like to advise the St. Thomas and St. John community that green waste brush debris will not be accepted at the Bovoni Landfill on Thursday, March 22nd from 6:00am to 12:00pm.

Due to the overwhelming amount of Hurricane related debris entering the Landfill on a daily basis, the temporary closure is necessary to afford VIWMA staff and contractor to perform maintenance to ensure better access to the site.

The VIWMA Preserving Paradise team apologizes for the inconvenience and thanks the community for their cooperation and patience.
