St. Thomas, U.S. Virgin Islands – The Virgin Islands Waste Management Authority (VIWMA) advises residents, businesses, and motorists that sewer line repairs will be conducted on Dronningens Gade (Seventh Day Street), in the vicinity of the L.C. Milliner Department Store, on Saturday, October 10, 2026, beginning at 8:00 a.m.
To safely facilitate the repairs, the roadway will be closed to through traffic. Access to the immediate area will be limited to residents and individuals who own or operate businesses within the vicinity.
Motorists are encouraged to avoid the affected area when possible and utilize alternate routes, including Prindsens Gade (Goat Street), Hospital Line near Lionel Roberts Stadium, and Norre Gade at the head of Pave Street.

Drivers traveling near the work zone are urged to reduce their speed, proceed with caution, and follow all directions provided by VIWMA personnel and traffic control officers on site.
VIWMA apologizes for any inconvenience this work may cause and appreciates the community’s patience and cooperation as we continue efforts to maintain and improve the Territory’s wastewater infrastructure.
