VIWMA ANNOUNCES REMOVAL OF ONE (1) BIN IN SOTO TOWN, ST. THOMAS
(St. Thomas, USVI) – The Virgin Islands Waste Management Authority (VIWMA) advises the public that on Saturday, November 30, 2025, one (1) of the four (4) residential waste bins located in Soto Town, St. Thomas, will be permanently removed.
Residents in the area may continue to utilize the three (3) remaining bins at the Soto Town location. The bin being removed is one of three positioned along the road. Following its removal, there will be:
- One (1) bin to the north of the removed unit
- Two (2) bins to the south, on the left side as you pass Wesleyan Academy
For added convenience, residents are also encouraged to use the five (5) 20-yard bins available at the Cancryn bin site.
VIWMA appreciates the public’s cooperation as the Authority works to maintain efficient and environmentally responsible waste management services across the Virgin Islands.
