VIWMA  TEAM ADVISES COMMUNITY OF SCHEDULED MAINTENANCE OF THE LBJ PUMPSTATION WET WELL

(St. Croix, USVI) - The Virgin Islands Waste Management Authority (VIWMA) Preserving Paradise Team advises the community that scheduled cleaning of the LBJ Pump Station wet wells has commenced. Cleaning of the wet well and pump manifold is necessary to commission the house pump and return the pump station to its normal operating mode.

Maintenance performed by VIWMA contractor and staff is scheduled to be completed by Tuesday, June 4, 2019. During this time, there is no anticipated bypass. The pump station wet well cleaning will not affect the level of service to the residents of the nearby area.

Residents are encouraged to utilize the VIWMA 24-Hour Hotline at 844-WMA-USVI (844-962-8784) to report solid waste and wastewater related emergencies.

We’re here to better serve you! Our team continues to work diligently to provide reliable services and would like to thank the community for their cooperation and patience.
