VIWMA TEAM CONTINUES MANHOLE REHABILITATION PROJECT ALONG THE CATHERINE'S REST ROAD

(ST. CROIX, USVI) - The Virgin Islands Waste Management Authority (VIWMA) Preserving Paradise team advises the community of the continuation of the manhole rehabilitation project along the Catherine’s Rest Road.

Traffic within the project limits will be reduced to one lane for approximately 500 ft. during the working hours of 7:00am - 6:00pm. The Authority advises the motoring public to traverse with caution or consider the use of alternate routes near the impacted area.

Residents with respiratory difficulties are advised to avoid the area. Deodorization will be administered locally to minimize odor impact to residents.

The VIWMA Preserving Paradise Team continues to work diligently to provide reliable services and would like to thank the community for their patience and cooperation.
