VIWMA MANGROVE WASTERWATER TREATMENT PLEANT SEPTAGE RECEIVING AREA RESUMES COLLECTION OF WASTEWATER, BUT TEMPORARILY NOT ACCEPTING SLUDGE

 

(St. Thomas, USVI) - The Virgin Islands Waste Management Authority (VIWMA) Preserving Paradise team advises the community that the Mangrove Lagoon Wastewater Treatment Plant (WWTP) septage receiving station is unable to accept sludge due to a continued maintenance issue, but will resume accepting wastewater. Normal operation will resume on Friday, June 1, 2018.


The VIWMA Preserving Paradise team apologizes for the inconvenience and would like to thank the community for their patience and cooperation.
